Mao KONISHI Biography

Since beginning her violin studies at age six, Mao Konishi has been the winner of a number of Japanese and European violin competitions, including Second Prize at the 2009 Euroasia Musik Festival.

Now in eighth grade, she has already appeared twice as soloist with the Cracow Philharmonic, having performed both the Violin Concerto No. 3 by Camille Saint-Saëns and Henryk Wieniawski's Violin Concerto No. 2.

She has been studying violin with Nobu Wakabayashi since age eight.
